Route 66 is known as the Main Street of America as it was the first national highway linking California. Your caravan of no more than 15 vehicles will follow along the best stretches of the original route with an itinerary planned and managed by Austin Coop, a professional tour director who has personally traversed Route 66 dozens of times over the last decade.
You’ll start the 13-day road tour in Chicago, and your journey will take you across eight states on your way to the finish line in Los Angeles, California. You’ll cross historic two-lane bridges, cruise through small towns, and experience those quirky roadside attractions that Route 66 is known for, including the famous Cadillac Ranch, the Leaning Tower of Britten in Groom, Texas, and Arizona’s Hackberry General Store. You’ll gaze in wonder during the stop at the Grand Canyon, and you might even find yourself “Standing a corner in Winslow, Arizona.” There is so much to see and do during each of the 13 days.
The Route 66 Guided Caravan is a 2,400-mile journey like no other, and Two Lane America does all the planning, so all you have to do is sit back and enjoy this trip! You bring your Corvette, and they will do the rest! The Route 66 Guided Caravan is open to all vehicles, not just Corvettes, so drive whatever you are most comfortable in for the extended road trip.
Each trip includes 13 nights of lodging in comfortable modern hotels, 18 meals, and all museums, national parks, and sightseeing admissions fees. You’ll also receive a trip tote bag, a souvenir-quality guidebook, and a guided tour of historic Santa Fe, NM. During the drive, Two Lane America tour guides will keep you hydrated with on-the-road waters and snacks, and you can even enjoy a curated Spotify playlist
The experienced hosts at Two Lane America know all the great spots to see and things to do. Your out-of-pocket costs along the way include fuel, any meals not mentioned in the itinerary, and all the gifts and souvenirs you are going to want to buy from this memorable experience.
