UMATILLA — Just one human being was killed and 3 others wounded in a two-automobile crash on Wednesday along County Highway 42, the Florida Highway Patrol noted.
The motor vehicles involved in the crash have been an older model Chevrolet Tahoe and a Ford Edge.
After the crash, the Edge was sitting down on the side of the roadway in a grassy space. The deceased, recognized only as a 75-12 months-previous girl from The Villages, was within the car.

The Chevy was in the middle of the roadway. Both equally vehicles ended up seriously damaged, and the two-lane highway was blocked in the two directions for numerous hrs.
Troopers stated three women – ages 75, 77 and 57 – were in the Edge, which was westbound on CR 42. The 75-12 months-previous woman was the driver. The 77-yr-previous girl is also from The Villages, and the 57-calendar year-previous woman is from Pennsylvania. The partnership of the females is mysterious.
The Chevy was driven by a 28-calendar year-aged Paisley man. He experienced no passengers. He was driving east on CR 42.
For an unidentified reason, the Chevy crossed the double yellow line that separates the lanes and entered the Path’s lane. The autos collided, but not head-on, officials stated.
Troopers have been dispatched to the crash, which occurred in close proximity to Southeast 203rd Avenue, shortly just before 6:30 p.m.
