ISP: 1 dies in 2-vehicle crash in White County – WISH-TV | Indianapolis News | Indiana Weather

BROOKSTON, Ind. (Want) — A lady driving passenger in an SUV died Monday morning after getting struck by the driver of a 2017 Dodge Durango, in accordance to Indiana Condition Law enforcement.

Monday just just before 9:30 a.m., White County Sheriff’s Division and ISP responded to a lethal crash at the intersection of County Road 1250 South and County Road 100 East, police say. That’s about a mile southeast of the town of Brookston.

In accordance to ISP, Roger Westerhouse, 70, from from Monticello was driving a 2020 Ford Edge westbound on County Road 1250 South. He stopped at the quit indication at the intersection of County Highway 100 East, prior to continuing via the quit indicator.

As Westerhouse was continuing by means of the halt sign, Shannon Lank, 50, from Brookston was driving a 2017 Dodge Durango on County Highway 100 East placing the passenger side of Westerhouse’s SUV, continuing into the industry on the southwest corner of the intersection, rolled around, and came to relaxation on its roof, law enforcement say.

According to ISP, Lank’s SUV was also in the subject on the southwest corner of the intersection.

Frist responders tried lifesaving endeavours, but Mary Westerhouse, 70, from Monticello, died at the crash scene, law enforcement say.

In accordance to ISP, the two drivers have been taken to a Lafayette spot medical center with unfamiliar disorders.
