Police think that velocity could have performed a part in the crash.
AKRON, Ohio — A 66-12 months-previous woman has died pursuing a Sunday afternoon crash in Akron.
Authorities say it was just ahead of 2 p.m. when officers had been identified as to the scene in the 1500 block of East Market place Street.
Akron law enforcement say a person was driving an S10 Chevy pickup truck with two passengers at a significant charge of velocity when a person driving a Ford Explorer pulled out of a driveway in the very same space.
The pickup truck rolled on to its still left side just after it was struck by the Ford, law enforcement say.
The 57-calendar year-previous man who was driving the truck was ejected from the motor vehicle alongside with a 35-year-old guy who was the rear passenger. Both had been taken to an area hospital with undisclosed accidents.
The 66-calendar year-aged girl, who was the front-seat passenger inside of the pickup truck, was pronounced lifeless at the scene.
The driver of the Ford, determined as a 43-yr-old lady, sustained a minor damage. Her two passengers have been unharmed.
Although the crash remains below investigations, Akron police say speed “seems to have been a component.”
